Washington State Ferry senior executive Charles Prestud will present WSF's draft 2040 plan to the club on Monday, September 10.

The public is invited to attend our dinner meeting and hear this presentation. This is a superb opportunity to hear a summary of the draft's findings and recommendations and to ask questions and voice your concerns about the impact of proposed system changes.
Mr. Prestrud is a life-long resident of the Puget Sound area. He studied economics and geography at the University of Washington, graduating in 1984.
His transportation experience began in the 1980s with a job making deliveries for a marine hardware store in Seattle (there was much less traffic back then but it was still challenging).  His public sector transportation planning experience began in 1986 when he went to work in Snohomish County for Community Transit. Eventually he became system planning manager for the agency with responsibility for long-range planning and regional coordination.
In 2001 Prestrud joined WSDOT working for the Urban Planning Office in Seattle.  That office had responsibility for long-range planning in King, Pierce, Snohomish and Kitsap.
There is a charge and reservations are required. There is limited seating so please respond quickly!
