This is primarily a fellowship event. Minimal business will be conducted, and there will not be an online feed available. It is also a special opportunity to visit Islandwood and socialize in a relaxed beautiful environment.
Islandwood is a world renowned environmental education center. It is a unique facility situated in the midst of a 255 acre forest. It was created to offer environmental science programs for people of all ages to deepen their understanding of the world around them and the positive impact they can have.
Perhaps you will be inspired to return at a future date to experience IslandWood's trail systems on a guided tour or self-guided exploration. Hike leisurely down the Spine Trail and traverse the ravine on a suspension bridge. Climb the Canopy Tower to get a birds-eye view of the land. Meander through hemlock and red-cedar woods. Scout for ospreys and eagles at Mac’s Pond. Walk along the Cemetery Trail and peek in the Mill Worker’s Cabin. Explore the more elusive “Lower Loop Trail” full of mossy wonders, maidenhair ferns, and hooty owls.
Islandwood caterers will be providing tasty appetizers for the event. Regardless of whether you plan to eat, the cost per attendee is $20.00 which covers venue and food costs, and you can pay this amount and provide the caterers the information they need by clicking on before Friday, November 19th, 5pm . There will be a no-host bar, as well.
Islandwood requires every attendee to complete the Islandwood registration form, and requests that you complete the form before Monday. To access the form online, please click on the Guest Registration Form. Please disregard the red print at the top of the form.
All IslandWood visitors are required to wear masks / face coverings providing adequate covering to the nose and mouth, at all times, with the following exceptions:
  •  While seated while eating. (Masks must be worn immediately before and after you are seated and eating.)
  •  While outdoors with a minimum of 6 feet of social distancing from others. By visiting IslandWood you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
